Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Prepnol collects when you use the app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Prepnol is run by Phayel Enterprises, based in Assam, India.
Information we collect
What you give us
When you create an account we ask for your WhatsApp number, your name, your email address, your class and whether you study in English or Assamese medium. If you order a printed copy of notes, we also ask for a delivery address and PIN code.
What we collect automatically
As you use Prepnol we record your test attempts, scores, and the notes you have unlocked, so the app can show your progress and the material you have paid for.
Cookies
We use two cookies, both strictly necessary and neither used for advertising:
- session — keeps you signed in after you enter your one-time password.
- pending — short-lived, holds a login in progress between asking for a code and entering it.
Clearing them signs you out. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are used and how the site performs. It sets no cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and reports only aggregate figures — we cannot use it to identify you or single out what one person read.
How we use your information
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To show the notes and tests for your class and medium.
- To deliver printed notes you have ordered.
- To answer your questions when you contact us.
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not show third-party advertising.
Notifications
If your browser asks whether Prepnol may send you notifications and you agree, we use them to tell you about:
- your orders — payment confirmed, a printed copy dispatched, a download ready;
- new notes and practice tests published for your class;
- exam dates coming up and reminders to revise;
- offers on notes and test plans.
Notifications are entirely optional. Saying no changes nothing else about your account, and you can withdraw permission at any time in your browser's site settings for prepnol.com — we stop immediately and you need not tell us. To send them we store a notification token issued by your browser; it identifies the browser, not you, and we delete it when you withdraw permission or delete your account.
Separately, we send order and delivery messages on WhatsApp and by email, because those are how we deliver what you bought.
Payments
Payments are handled by Razorpay; Prepnol never sees or stores your card, UPI, or bank details. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
Who else handles your information
We share only what each one needs to do its job, and none of them may use your information for their own purposes:
- Razorpay — payments.
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) — one-time passwords and order messages.
- Amazon Web Services (SES) — email.
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage and analytics. Your data is stored in the Asia-Pacific region.
How long we keep your data
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
Your choices
Access and correction
You can see and update your name and class from your account at any time. For anything else, write to us and we will help.
Deleting your account
To delete your account and data, reach us through the contact page. Deletion is permanent — your purchases and progress cannot be restored afterwards.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
